Hey all, we’re having another Pub night, again at Brown’s Brewery. It’ll be on Wednesday, 2 June at 6 PM. Come have a bite, have a beer (it is a brewery after all) and join our discussion.

Well we had our first Drinking Skeptically for Capital District Skeptics at Brown’s Brewery. The venue is undergoing some nice renovation that should make it an even better place to host groups.
Check out the site for updates and join the meetup.com group in the sidebar to be notified of upcoming events.
If you’re interested in joining CDS and have questions, email us at

Capital District Skeptics is going to start having regular meetups. Taking a cue from other groups, we’ll have alternating coffee house and pub nights. We’ll keep doing Wednesdays but we’ll push the time back to 7 PM.
In the coming months membership will be expanded and plans will be made to host events and talks, like SkeptiCamp. There’s even a Skeptics in the Wild camping trip in the works!
So the next meetup will be a Drinking Skeptically / Skeptics in the Pub at Brown’s Brewery in Troy, NY. It’s a place with great beer, great food, and plenty of space.
